Bringing the light of knowledge to the hearts and homes of women
We bring Islamic knowledge to life for Muslim women everywhere, so each can grow as a servant of Allah ﷻ as a daughter, sister, wife, mother and member of her community.

Where it started
Jannah Institute began in 2013 in Saint Louis, Missouri, as the only institution there offering Qur'an and Islamic Studies courses with a strong emphasis on tazkiyah.
In 2024 it opened its first physical location, in the Muslim Village in Irvine, California, hosting courses and workshops for women and youth.
It was founded by Dr. Sh. Haifaa Younis, an American Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist, who studied at the Mecca Institute of Islamic Studies and memorized the Qur'an at Al-Huda Qur'an Memorization School in Jeddah.
What we believe
Islamic learning transforms lives, not through information, but through daily application that creates lasting change.

Where we are headed
Three goals for the years ahead.
A women's only seminary: the first institution of its kind, for women, by women.
A new campus with spacious classrooms, a gym and daycare for women and youth.
Twice as many scholarships, for the hundreds of applications received each year.
